If you’ve been on Twitter of late, you may have noticed a few issues with the social media platform.
More specifically the fact that likes, retweets and notifications appear to be a little buggy, with several users across the globe noting that number of likes on their tweets appear to be fluctuating weirdly.
It even prompted some to believe that the platform was performing some sort of mass fake account purge, but that does not seem to be the case.
While they have not gone into detail as to why, the company did confirm in a tweet (obviously) earlier today that is aware of the problem, and that it’s working on a fix.
This issue seems to have started a little over 24 hours ago, and at the time of writing no update or fix has been rolled out by Twitter yet.
Some people around the world are experiencing an issue with notifications, Likes, and Retweets. We’re working on resolving this and will follow up soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.
