Play The Division 2’s Open Beta and you could win an Xbox One X

This weekend we’re keen to dive back into The Division 2 as the Open Beta goes live today.

We still need to see more of the game before making a call on it. That having been said our first impressions are that the game is an improvement on the original both mechanically and visually. Whether the story Ubisoft wants to tell will be as intriguing as the first game however, remains to be seen.

This morning we were informed of a rather cool competition being held in tandem with the Open Beta which will see folks able to win an Xbox One X.

The competition runs from today (1st March) and ends on 4th March when the Open Beta concludes. To win you’ll need to play the Open Beta and upload a screenshot showing your gamer tag in the game over at this webpage.

Winners won’t just get an Xbox One X, they will also receive a Dark Zone Collector’s Edition of the game (for Xbox of course) and one of two specially branded t-shirts.

The only restriction for this competition is that you must be a South African resident who is 18 years old or older.

We’re pre-loading The Division 2 Open Beta as we speak and we can’t wait to dive back into the madness that is Washington DC. For a taste of what the Open Beta will offer, take a look at the trailer below.

Those looking to play just need to make their way to the online store of their platform and start downloading. On PC it’s a 44.52 gigabyte download. Thankfully, however, if you have the previous beta installed this new one should simply be a patch instead of a whole new download. That being said the patch is still around ten gigabytes.
