Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launch trailer features Bad Moon Rising

Spoilers for bosses, enemies, locations abilites and more for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice below

We’re about ten days out from the release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but we already have a release trailer for the title undercut with a dark and moody cover of Bad Moon Rising originally by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

While we can go into a whole tangent about trailers using edgy remixes of traditionally upbeat songs, it’s more important to note that those wanting to go into the game completely blind will want to give this a miss, as to not spoil anything.

For the rest of us we get to see some new content and some older stuff that content creators picked up on in a recent press event where lots of new footage was capture of the game.

This is because, thankfully, the trailer seems to be made up of actual gameplay as opposed to being a cutscene or pre-rendered cinematic.

Finally, to circle back to the topic of music once more, give the Japanese trailer a watch if you find the English one (embedded below) unsuitable. Aside from the voice acting being in a different language, its music is more on the ambient side and fits the tone of the trailer a bit better.

South Africans looking to get this game may be interested in a way to win it, with local distributor Megarom offering it, a custom PS4 and more in a contest. Check back here soon for more details on that.
