How to watch the Huawei P30 global launch

It’s a little over 24 hours until Huawei will debut its new flagship device – the P30.

Over the past few years the Huawei brand has grown substantially locally, and the global launch of the new P30 series should be hotly anticipated. Taking place in Paris tomorrow (26th March) at 15:00 SA time, those who do not find themselves in the French city, but are interested in seeing what Huawei has in store, have a couple of different options to stay in the loop.

The first and most dependable will be the Huawei P30 live stream, which the company will be hosting on their Mobile YouTube channel. We’ve also embedded the video for the live stream at the end of this article, should you wish to watch it here.

Those reading this ahead of time can also use YouTube’s Set Reminder feature.

While live streaming offers the most immersive experience for the global launch, it will also prove quite expensive should you take data costs into account. Add to that the current loadshedding South Africa is going through, and you’ll be in need of some back up options.

That’s where Twitter comes into play and the Huawei Mobile profile will be tweeting out hi-res images of all of the devices, as well as a few short videos of the products too. If data is at the forefront of your thinking, their Twitter profile is the next best thing.

If you’re wanting a local take on the action, we’ll also be live tweeting all the news, announcements and first takes on the Huawei P30 series as well. As such be sure to follow Hypertext on Twitter if you’re wanting a more objective feed from the event.
