The Huawei P30 Series launched in South Africa, starting at R13 999

At a launch event held at the Kyalami International Convention Centre, Huawei Mobile South Africa unveiled their latest lineup of devices for the country – The P30 Series.

Said series includes a trio of devices, with the P30 Lite, P30 and P30 Pro now available locally for purchase. Huawei also revealed recommended pricing, with the P30 Lite (4GB RAM) costing R5 999, the P30 (6GB RAM) starting at R13 999 and range topping P30 Pro (8GB RAM) retailing for R18 999.

While the latter two are not cheap, the P30 and P30 Pro are certainly well priced, especially if you consider that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ sell for a recommended R18 999 and R20 999 respectively.

All three devices are available to pre-order from South African retailers and networks, along with Huawei’s new online store (powered by local distributor Mustek), from today.

In terms of colour options, the P30 Lite will be available in either Black or Aurora. The P30 will also have the same colour options, but the Pro model also adds a new variant in the form of Breathing Crystal.
