BigFive announces Africa-First Digital summit

Earlier this week BigFive Digital announced that it will host the Africa-First Digital Summit at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town from 13th to 15th May.

The aim of the Summit is to give small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) in Africa and the Middle East (AME) a provision of how media, mobile and technology vendors and their agencies can work together to drive and promote technology adaptation for local businesses across Africa.

According to BigFive Digital the event will host media and tech digital stakeholders, influential thought leaders and disruptive startups to address the five key elements fueling the rise and growth of the AME digital ecosystem – Search, Social, Mobile, Location and Payments.

The organisation adds that some of the topics which the three-day event will discuss includes, Why Africa is Poised for Small Business Revolution, How the industry leaders view the AME digital opportunity, The changing face of media and solution selling the local customer journey 2019, and The payments revolution and the transformation of Africa’s small business ecosystem.

BigFive Digital is also currently running an Executive Survey, to measure how leaders inside companies who serve or sell SMEs view the digital opportunity, with the full findings being presented at the Summit.

All SMEs who wish to attend the event can register at the BigFive website.
