Before Rage 2 comes out, build yourself a LEGO Wingstick

Rage 2 is less than a month away which may still seem like a long while for those hoping to hop into yet another colourful apocalypse. Luckily there’s some LEGO-themed distractions to keep you busy until then.

German builder Marius Herrmann has not only replicated the Wingstick weapon as seen in both games, but he’s also made its instructions and parts list available for free.

Even those outside of the LEGO community may know of Herrmann and his work turning pop culture – usually from videogames – into LEGO.

We featured him extensively around the launch of Titanfall 2 for his work on turning the eponymous Titans into scaled mechs for your desk.

You may have even seen him briefly in the recent God of War – Thank You,  an official PlayStation video which highlighted many fan reactions and creations. His interpretation of Alfheim is seen there, along with the man himself.

An image of the finished build, the instructions and the parts list can all be found in the embed below.

If you don’t have the pieces you need you can buy them from LEGO’s own Bricks & Pieces service. As that is limited to very few countries, the secondhand, unofficial Bricklink marketplace is your best friend.

Even small countries like South Africa have a few local vendors on Bricklink you can buy from so you don’t need to deal with the hassle of importing.

We count just 68 pieces in this build so it should be relatively cheap, even if some parts are rarer and more expensive than others.
