Switch exclusivity for SteamWorld Quest ends 31st May

The latest title in the SteamWorld franchise – the singleplayer deck builder Quest: Hand of Gilgamech – will be purchasable on Steam before the end of this month.

The game was a Nintendo Switch exclusive when it launched on 25th April this year where it has received generally positive reviews.

It was not known when the game would come to other platforms until it was announced be developer Image & Form Games, complete with a Steam page you can use to add the title to your wishlist.

The page does not list the price but it is going for $24.99 on the Switch, so we expect it to be the same on Steam. Hopefully Steam can offer a better localised price, as that $24.99 translated to R399 on the South African eShop, which is about R50 more than the direct conversion.

Even if the Steam one is similarly pricey, it does have the extra advantage of more support, as the purchase there will also work on Mac and Linux.

If you’d like to spend no money at all,  Image & Form Games is currently running a contest if you’re artistically inclined. If you head on over to the announcement page and leave your piece of fan art in the comments, you have a chance to win a Steam code for the title.

Three winners will be chosen from there but the contest will only be open until 28th May.
