With the mid-week public holidays done and dusted, the past few days have been a little more taxing than usual. That’s why we turn to YouTube and the latest movie and TV series trailers to break the monotony, and this week served up a few interesting selections.

We got two trailers for properties from DC involving the Batman universe, with our first look at the Batwoman live action series starring Ruby Rose, as well as a glimpse at the animated take on Jeff Loeb and Jim Lee’s highly acclaimed Hush storyline.

Shifting focus from the caped crusader there’s a new disturbing horror on the way in the form of Midsommar, which comes from the same director who helmed Hereditary, Ari Aster. If you’re into being disturbed we were also treated to a trailer for season 5 of Netflix, which stars Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus and Topher Grace of all people.

Lastly we have another live acton Disney property with the sequel to Maleficent, which sees Angelina Jolie return in the titular role.

If any of the above piques your interest, scroll down further to watch the trailers below, and as always enjoy.
