Publisher Dangen Entertainment has finally released a trailer for their RTS made for consoles in Tactical Galactical, and one of the three characters shown off looks like a Cosmonaut bear, so you know it’s good.
Claimed to be “designed from the ground up for controllers” this game is a hex-based RTS that is coming to the three consoles (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), as well as PC (Steam) in 2020.
Players will be able to control land units on the surface of the planet as well as spaceships in orbit, which all seem to have a retro sci-fi aesthetic.
One to four players has been promised but we’re not sure how those players are allocated between the singleplayer campaign, local skirmish, and online multiplayer.
On top of being an RTS there is some kind of card system at work here which can be used to summon unit, attack or pull off special moves.
While Tactical Galactical was announced a while back this new trailer finally shows it off in action, and was made for BitSummit which took place in Japan a few days ago.
Aside from our beloved bear (named Mikhail the Brave) the other two characters on show are Delores the Invincible and Zubair the Cunning. We assume the choice of character has some bearing on how the came plays out. Maybe each character will be the leader of a different faction.
