Keanu Reeves makes cameo in NSFW E3 trailer for Cyberpunk 2077

Is there a more hotly anticipated game at the moment than Cyberpunk 2077?

We’re gonna say no, especially as the CD Projekt Red developed game is mixing together a bunch of gaming genres, intense gameplay and stunning visuals into one NSFW package.

The team behind the game is also enlisting some A-list talent for the game, as we saw Keanu Reeves make a cameo in the latest trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 for E3 2019 over the weekend, also making an in-person appearance at the LA-based event.

In keeping with the game’s tone, the trailer (posted below) is suitably intense, but it’s unclear how closely it will stick to what gamer’s will experience when Cyberpunk 2077 launches on 16th April (PS4, Xbox One, PC) next year.

The main character is referred to as Samurai, but seeing as how you’ll be able to create either a male or female protagonist, it should be interesting to see if that moniker sticks depending on what kind of character you make.

Regardless, if the early footage we’ve seen to date is anything to go by, this game will feature some superb cut scenes.

Along with the Reeves cameo, we also got a look at the Collector’s Edition of the game, which has a certain GTA feel to it. To that end you get a map of the city, a figurine of your character (male only), a concept art book, steel book disc cover, a miniature car keychain and a few other things.

The Collector’s Edition is available for pre-order in select regions for an estimated $250. In SA we’ve seen it listed for roughly R4 599 across all platforms, with the standard version of the game already appearing on the likes of Raru for R999 on PS4 and Xbox One and R729 for PC.

We’re normally hesitant when to comes to pre-ordering a game, but Cyberpunk 2077 may be one of the rare occasions were we bite the bullet.
