Netflix brings Love, Death and Robots back for a second season

One of the more interesting projects we’ve seen on Netflix in recent months has been Love, Death and Robots, with the 18 episode debut series featuring a mix of different live-action and animated stories.

The show has several creatives behind it, but the first season saw director/producer David Fincher being one of the marque names attached.

Fans of the first NSFW season will now be glad to hear that Netflix has confirmed that a second season is on the way for Love, Death and Robots, taking to Twitter to make the announcement.

At the time of writing though, there’s no word on when Volume Two as it’s being called will land on the streaming platform, nor how many episodes are slated for it.

What we do know is that one of the names attached to Volume Two is Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who is best known for her work on the Kung Fu Panda franchise. Hopefully that means that an episode of Love, Death and Robots will feature Jack Black.

With some of the episodes involving painstakingly realistic CGI, our thoughts are that we’ll have to wait until the latter half of 2020 before Volume Two will be ready for streaming.

As such, if you haven’t watched Love, Death and Robots yet, and are interested in easily digestible but visually rich stories, it comes highly recommended by us.
