We’re a few months away from one of the older fixtures on the local gaming and geeky events calendar – rAge.

The expo is being held for its 17th year in 2019 and will once again take place at the TicketPro Dome.

As always the NAG LAN will feature at the event and will run from 27th – 29th September.

This year the the LAN will make use of Mweb Fibre, Nutanix (which will supply servers) and Aruba networking which will be supplied by Duxbury.

Tickets for the LAN go on sale on 27th July and there are two options to choose from in 2019.

The NAG LAN General ticket is pretty bog standard. For R700 you get entrance to the LAN from the Friday. Seating for NAG LAN General ticket holders is located at the Mezzanine and Blue Wing area.

The NAG LAN Super Pass ticket is rather pricey at R1 050 but it does have few perks.

For one you will be able to enter the LAN from 18:00 on Thursday 26th September. Ticket holders will also receive a 15 percent discount at the NAG Shoppe, a 15 percent discount at the Matrix Warehouse stand, a free Red Bull upon entry and a Huawei Hoodie Neck Pillow.

You can find out more about the NAG LAN over at this website.

In addition to the news about the NAG LAN ticket sales, the organisers have also updated the logo for the event.

“The industry we’re in is always updating things, pushing boundaries and doing something new. We’ve had the same look and feel for the rAge logo since we started out in 2003, so it was long overdue for a refresh,” senior project manager at rAge, Michael James, said of the change.
