Nominations now open for this year’s IITPSA President’s Awards

It is that time of the year again when the Institute of Information Technology Professionals of South Africa (IITPSA) welcomes nominations for this year’s President’s Awards.

Having recognised the ICT industry’s leading professionals for the past 40 years, the 2019 iteration of the Awards will feature four different categories – IT Personality, Visionary CIO, Technology Excellence and Social Responsibility/Community.

The IITPSA has opened up nominations, with them closing on 1st September. The Awards will be presented in November later this year, but a precise date for the event has not been mentioned.

“The introduction of new categories recognised expanding priorities in the IT sector, while the growing prestige of the awards reflects the increasing importance of IT professionals for enterprise and the economy as a whole,” explains IITPSA CEO Tony Parry.
