Solution Space e-Track Programme is looking for student-run startups

Solution Space, which is a startup-focused platform based at the University of Cape Town’s Business School, is looking for student-led startups to join its e-Track Programme later this year.

Applications for the Programme close on 23rd August, with it aiming specifically to assist budding businesses to scale its operations and potentially branch out into international spheres.

As reported by Disrupt Africa, the e-Track Programme will consist of five weeks worth of training to validate the venture-readiness of the startup and its team. From there 10 startups will be chosen to take part in a Venture Exploitation Programme, where the development of the business will undergo significant acceleration over 12 weeks, the Solution Space explains.

The final part of the Programme (there are three), will then look at how to scale the business for growth in international markets over a 12-week period. This aspect of the process will be facilitated by investors, subject experts and a business development team, the Solution Space adds.

Furthermore selected startups will also gain access to MTN APIs, the MTN Service Delivery Platform, and MTN technical experts and mentors, with the carrier one of Solution Space’s partner for the e-Track Programme. MTN will also b hosting a series of workshops and clinics for startups involved.

Solution Space ends by noting that the Programme will provide access to co-working space and advisory services, along with a network of partners and mentors.
