The annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance took place over the weekend and, while the focus there is primarily on vintage cars in pristine condition, there are also a few modern vehicles that make an appearance. This time round it was the turn of Bugatti to reveal a new offering, with the French car maker showcasing its Centodieci hypercar at the event.

This new car is notable for a number of reasons. It has been designed to celebrate the company’s 110th anniversary, along with sporting an eye-watering $9.8 million price tag and 1193kW of power to match.

The Centodieci was also part of an exhibition of vehicles that Bugatti brought to Pebble Beach to honour some of its most iconic sports cars. This is included an EB110 Super Sport, a Veyron Super Sport, three Chiron Sports, a Divo and a La Voiture Noire, all of which were on the concept car lawn at Pebble Beach.

Shifting focus back to the Centodieci, it has an 18-litre W16 engine which helps to propel the vehicle from 0 to 100km/h in 2.4 seconds. As for top speed, that has been electronically limited to 379km/h, though it would be interesting to see just how high the speedo could climb if not restricted.

If you’re wanting to get your hands on the Centodieci, only 10 are being made at this stage, and given the price tag and exclusivity, the chances of seeing one at your local dealership are very slim indeed.

As such you can enjoy the unveiling of the Centodieci in the live streamed video from Pebble Beach below.
