How to watch this week’s Galaxy Note 10 livestream

When it comes to mobile devices, all eyes are on Samsung this week as the South Korean company plans to unveil its latest flagship offering – the Galaxy Note 10.

The device will grace the stage at an event in New York on 7th August at 22:00 local time.

While that is indeed past many people’s bed times, the new smartphone has always had a strong following in South Africa, which means many will still be keen to tune into the event. Speaking of which, as has been the case in previous years, Samsung will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked live stream on its YouTube channel where you’ll be able to tune in to the action.

Should data be at a premium, it’s although worthwhile following us on Twitter at @htxtafrica, as we’ll not only be live tweeting all the details, but also attending the local Galaxy Note 10 event that Samsung Mobile South Africa has planned on Wednesday evening.

As has been the trend in past years, Samsung is expected to have devices on display there, so stay tuned as we snap some pictures of the new Note 10.

We should also be getting some more information on the Galaxy Fold, and whether Samsung plans to launch it in SA, and if so, how much it’s going to cost you (hint: it’s a lot).

With other smartphone makers expected to release devices in coming months, including the likes of Apple, Sony and Huawei, it should be interesting to see if Samsung can lay down an early challenge for the second half of 2019.
