Tickets to Crypto Fest 2019 are sold out

Anybody hoping to get tickets to the inaugural Crypto Fest happening at Shimmy Beach Club in Cape Town this weekend is bound to be disappointed as tickets are sold out.

Bitcoin Events, the organisers of Crypto Fest, informed us of the news late yesterday afternoon.

“This is the first event of its kind in South Africa and with the tremendous interest in cryptocurrencies that exist in South Africa this event is certainly going to provide several insights into why South Africans are investing in, and trading with cryptocurrencies,” the organisers said.

The conference takes place this weekend on 7th September. For those that managed to get tickets before they were all sold out, a wide selection of speakers and activities await on the day.

You can find the full list of speakers on the day at this link but some of the more notable appearances will include:

  • Connie Gallippi – founder and executive director at BitGive Foundation
  • Richard de Sousa – founder of AltCoinTrader
  • Simon Dingle – CEO of Invest Capital
  • Khaya Maloney – country manager for OKEx in South Africa
  • James Preston – managing editor at SA Crypto

Aside from the speakers there will be a Crypto Battle Arena where controversial debates surround cryptocurrencies will be had.

There will also be crypto gaming and crypto giveaways on the day and the conference will culminate in a party at the end of the day.

Usually this is the part where we’d tell you to get your tickets. Seeing as they are all sold out however means that perhaps you shouldn’t wait until the last minute should Crypto Fest return in 2020.
