The 7th generation of iPad is a 10.2″ tablet for $329

Apple’s most popular tablet is its 9.7″ offering, and now the device has been updated to work with the firm’s new iPadOS. To that end the seventh generation of iPad is now 10.2″ and will cost $329.

The Cupertino-based company revealed the new tablet at its iPhone 11 event earlier this evening, and are aiming for it to be the most popular iteration of the range.

The aforementioned 10.2″ display is Retina in quality, and features support for the Apple Pencil 2 stylus, which is focused on multitasking and productivity. Alongside the Pencil 2, Apple is also debuting a full-sized keyboard/smart cover for the 10.2″ offering.

Shifting back to the new iPad, it has a Fusion A10 processor, with the firm also claiming all-day battery life.

For those who enjoy sustainability, the new iPad also sports a 100 percent recycled aluminium body, akin to the new MacBook Air. Added to this is support for Gigabit-class LTE, along with Touch ID to take care of the biometrics.

Available in both 32GB and 128GB storage options, pricing for each model is $329 and $459 respectively, but local pricing is yet to be confirmed.

For those residing Stateside, the new iPad will land on 30th September, along with 25 other countries, but no listing for those has been detailed at the time of writing.
