KFC dating sim launches to overwhelmingly positive review status

If the world wasn’t a strange enough place already, the KFC dating simulator launched this week and the Steam community is already in love.

I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator – the game’s full title – has been out for less than a day and currently has around 1 700 reviews, 95% of which, are positive.

This puts the game into the Overwhelmingly Positive category of overall reviews, which is the highest tier on Steam.

Before anyone believes that this is come kind of miracle and KFC manages to publish a fantastical game, just keep in mind that it is free to download which means that no one has to spend any money to leave a review.

Because of this many of the positive reviews are meant to be jokes, with many mentioning their love of the character Aeshleigh. Despite this some reviews do state this is a quality product, so we guess you’ll just have to download the game and find out for yourself.

“I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator follows you, a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders,” The description of the game reads, “Throughout your journey, you’ll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love. But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters’ feelings at stake.”

This title features nine characters, battles, and a secret ending and secret recipes. An addition listed under the features section includes “11 Herbs and Spices”, though we’re pretty sure you can’t eat software unless this is some kind of Matrix steak situation.

Finally, it’s worth reiterating that this is an officially licenced KFC product. The company has heavily promoted this glorified chicken advert, and it is the publisher of this game. The developer is Psyop, which has created the games Camp W and Kismet in the past.
