Six of the week’s new must-watch trailers

It is Friday (depending on when you’re reading this) and that means it’s time for another roundup of the week’s best new trailers. This week we got quite a few action-packed ones, each with their own distinct flavours.

The standout though is Birds of Prey, otherwise known as the spin-off Harley Quinn film starring Margot Robbie.

As the title suggests quite a few female characters from the DC universe have been added to the mix for this one, including Black Canary and Huntress. The other notable addition is Ewan McGregor as Black Mask (although he isn’t wearing one in the trailer), with The Joker present in spirit at least.

With DC movies being hit and miss (mostly miss), it will be interesting to see if Robbie and co. can make this female-focused film a box office hit when it lands in February next year.

The other trailers completing our magnificent six this week are WWI drama 1917, The King’s Man, 6 Underground, The Personal History of David Copperfield and The Gentleman.

Of that collection we’re particularly interested in 1917 as it was reportedly filmed one-shot style like Birdman, as well as The King’s Man and The Gentleman, with the latter seeing Guy Ritchie return to his British gangster roots.

If any of those sound interesting, scroll down further and enjoy the trailers below.
