Westcon-Comstor launches home-brewed cloud comms tool CloudCall

Companies on the look out for a cost-effective communication solution that meets specific needs will be pleased to learn of CloudCall.

CloudCall is a new solution created by the folks at Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa and cloud development specialist Argantic.

As the name suggests, CloudCall is a cloud calling solution that is built on Microsoft Teams and uses the advanced voice processing of AudioCodes. The solution also doesn’t require a business to maintain complex and expensive hardware.

“CloudCall has been built from the ground up with the business needs of the South African customer in mind. It brings together the best of Microsoft Teams and AudioCodes. And because it is hosted in the cloud, customers can deliver communications anywhere, anytime, and on any device,” Argantic director, Garry Ackerman, said in a statement.

Westcon-Comstor says that CloudCall can be integrated with existing PBX systems or run alongside your current telecoms solution. CloudCall can also be deployed as a fully functional IP calling system.

“While communications and collaboration are popular choices in the migration to the cloud, existing solutions either do not meet the bespoke needs of a customer or are expensive and difficult to deploy,” says Tidiane Lo, Westcon director at Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa.

“To this end, we combined vendor solutions to unlock the most value for our customers and worked closely with Argantic to bring it all together,” adds Lo.
