Humble Postmodern Bundle collects all the big meta games

With a new week comes a new Humble Bundle with the loose unifying theme here being “postmodernism”.

Three big indie names are included here: Thomas Was Alone, The Stanley Parable and Everything have made waves in recent years for just how different they do things. Thomas Was Alone is our favourite of the three simply because it made us genuinely care about some shapes.

The rest of the bundle is promising too with the highest tier only including one game: Catherine Classic. We’re not exactly sure why this game has so much prominence here as the collection’s full name is actually “Humble Postmodern Bundle with Catherine Classic”. Regardless, those looking for this game can now get it at the highest tier and get some other classics at the same time for less.

The default charity this time around is the Global Game Jam, and the bundle has already raked in $45 269 despite launching just recently. We expect that to go up quite a bit before another bundle replaces it.

It’s also worth noting that the Humble Monthly subscription is really good with this month with the early unlocks being Call of Duty: WWII, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The Humble Bundle always comes with 10% off of Humble Monthly, as long as you’re a first time subscriber.

All we really have to add to that all the titles in the Humble Monthly are from Activision Blizzard who are seemingly doing their best to be an enemy of the people regarding the current Hong Kong protests. Spend your money however you like, but just be cognisant of where it’s going. Unlike the Humble Bundle, you can’t choose to give the publisher / developer $0 of your purchase.
