It is 25th November, and while this would be just another Monday another other year, this time around it marks the beginning of a number of week-long Black Friday sales. One such retailer aiming to capitalise on this shopping event which has taken over South Africa is Digicape, with it revealing its online and in-store deals for Black Friday.

The Digicape sale kicks off today and runs until 29th November, and with the retailer specialising in Apple hardware, there is likely plenty that will be of interest.

In terms of discounts, they naturally vary from product to product, but Digicape is offering up to 55 percent off during this week.

Being the first day, the number of deals is small for now, but should increase as the week develops. There are, however, a few devices that have caught our eye.

If you’re in the need of a MacBook Pro for example the retailer has a 13″ model with a dual-core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on offer for R15 999 (saving of R3 000). There’s also 32GB Apple TV 2 up for grabs at R1 999 (save R700), as well as some Apple AirPods 2 with charging case for R1 999 (save R700).

For now the big ticket items, namely iPhones, iMacs and Mac Minis, are still to be listed for the Black Friday sale, so it’s a good idea to check in with the Digicape site periodically, or sign up for its newsletter.
