Local retailers have thrown the concept of Black Friday to the dogs with many opting for a week-long celebration of the annual shopping event.
Granted, this makes sense locally given that most folks receive their salaries this week and capitalising on that makes sense from a retailer’s point of view.
One such retailer is Evetech which has launched its Level Up sale.
The sale kicks off today and offers up to 50 percent off on selected items while stocks last.
Heading to the Evetech website we were curious to see just how drastic the discounts were. While the main Level Up landing page does tout discounts as great as 70 percent, clicking the link to the product page does appear to carry the same discount.
For instance, a Logitech G633 7.1 Artemis Spectrum headset is touted as having a 70 percent discount but the product page suggests the discount is on 41.2 percent or R700. That’s still a good deal on a decent headset though.
We highly recommend combing through the specials on offer carefully before clicking buy. It’s also worth mentioning that all of Evetech’s Level Up deals are available exclusively online.
Something to note is that buyers can only purchase one product each for themselves. Evetech also promises delivery will be fulfilled within two to four days.
