Announcements for Black Friday deals have begun in earnest, and the latest we’ve caught word of is Acer, with the Taiwanese manufacturer discounting a number of devices, and notebooks in particular during the annual shopping event.
Acer notes that its Black Friday deals kick off on the 29th and run until 2nd December or while stocks last, with all of them listed on the local Acer Store.
There are a bunch of different discounts on offer, across the various Acer lineups. To that end notebooks like the Aspire 5 with i5 processor have had R2 000 knocked off the asking price and bringing it down to R6 999.
Some other eye-catching deals include a discount of R7 000 on the Swift 7 with an i5 chipset, which now costs R21 999 during Black Friday. Another is the company reducing the asking price on the 24″ Predator Gaming Monitor by R2 000 to R5 999.
The standout though, and likely the reason you clicked on this story is the massive R20 000 that the Taiwanese firm has taken off of the Predator Helios, now costing R34 999. This particular model features an Intel Core i9 processor. but Acer has also discounted other models of this gaming notebook should the specifications not be what you’re after.
With the Acer devices in general proving good value for money, this newly announced Black Friday sale may be worthwhile for anyone needing to upgrade their notebook, whether it be for gaming, the home or office.
