Nacon announces new Revolution Pro Controller 3

Video game peripherals and accessories manufacturer Nacon have announced their new Revolution Pro Controller 3 via PlayStation’s official YouTube channel.

The Nacon Revolution Pro Controller 3 features a slightly updated design over the previous model with its key features being listed as follows:

  • Wired connection
  • 3m braided USB-C detachable cable
  • Audio and chat support
  • 3.5mm headset jack (headset not included)
  • Dual concave customisable sticks with 46° amplitude
  • 4 x configurable shortcut buttons
  • 4 or 8-way directional pad
  • LED player status indicator
  • 2 x customisable vibration motors
  • Internal weight compartments (2 x10g, 2x 14g, 2x 16g)
  • Customisable LED halo

The Revolution Pro Controller 3 is officially licensed by PlayStation and local distributor GameFinity have confirmed that the controller will be available in South Africa later this month with an RRP of R1899. Raru currently has it up for pre-order at a discounted price of R1599.

While it’s great to see that Nacon has updated their Revolution Pro Controller 2 with some new features, the controller is unfortunately still tied down by a wired connection. Gamers that want a wireless experience will have to shell out more for the Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro which comes in at R2 599 at the time of writing.
