LEGO Ideas, the programme which takes fan creations and turns them into official sets you can buy in stores, has just announced the latest batch of potential products.

The even dozen of applicants include sets based on Seinfeld, Queen, The Legends of Zelda, Futurama and more.

Strangely one set is not based on an outside IP, but an original one from LEGO themselves. Bionicle was a phenomenon from the 2000’s that LEGO eventually phased out only to have a half-hearted revival a few years ago. Now a creation from the community could bring the theme back in spirit.

For those who prefer wholly unique builds over existing properties, there’s a lot of that here too. Our favourite of this ilk is a generic typewriter, but maybe that’s just our love of words showing.

All 12 builds are available for your perusal down below.

Regardless of which one is your favourite, it’s up to LEGO to decide which one(s) will be turned into boxed sets. The company takes many factors into consideration such as price points, build complexity and rigidity. In a few months it will then reveal which have made the cut through the rigorous internal process.

Usually only one build of each wave is chosen to go into production, but sometimes more than that make the cut.

Click on the names or pictures of each creation to be taken to its individual page where you can see more of it.
