When you buy a regular Humble Bundle you get to choose where your money goes between the developers, charities and Humble Bundle itself. The latest bundle, however, is a bit different as 100% of its proceeds are going towards the Australian bushfire epidemic which is still ongoing.
Starting at $25 (~R359) you are getting 29 games, most made by Australian developers or have some kind of link to the cause. Euro Truck Simulator 2, for example, is made by a SCS Software in the Czech Republic, but in this bundle it comes with a paint job DLC focused on Australia.
Money from sales here will go to three organisations working on fire relief: RSPCA Australia, WIRES and WWF.
The full list of games is available below and you can get the bundle yourself here.
Our favourites from the bunch are Hand of Fate 2 and Crawl. Hand of Fate 2 is a really unique mix of roguelike, deck building and Arkham combat, while Crawl is a co-op dungeon crawler where you can play as the monsters.
The most recognisable title from the list is probably Hollow Knight, the bug-based Metroidvania from 2017 that is still being talked about.
At the time of writing this bundle has been purchased almost 15 000 times raising more than $400 000. We suspect that both of these numbers will grow significantly in the week that this offer is available. Consider picking this up if you want to contribute to the cause, or you just want these great games.
