Kyocera introduces four new eco-friendly A4 monochrome printers locally

The new year is not simply about personal resolutions, but also offers the opportunity for businesses to assess the different elements of its ecosystem and address the elements that require attention.

One often forgotten aspect is printing, but in the current age sustainability, having an environmentally conscience mindset holds several benefits to the business’s bottom line too.

To that end Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa has launched a range of A4 monochrome printers designed to help companies manage their print output more securely and efficiently, while significantly reducing their environmental impact.

The ECOSYS lineup as Kyocera has branded them, feature four offerings in particular – the ECOSYS P3145dn, ECOSYS P3150dn, ECOSYS P3155dn and ECOSYS P3260dn. All of these printers are part of the company’s high-speed laser portfolio and have been updated to yield higher print volumes.

This results in an increased output and ultimately allows businesses to better manage their printing procedures. More specifically Kyocera says this new ECOSYS range is 13 percent faster than the previous generation.

“At Kyocera, we truly believe in striving for greatness and that is why we are always looking to upgrade and improve our key product ranges, such as our ECOSYS range. Thanks to these latest developments, companies can drive their print efficiency whilst also improving their environmental sustainability and information security at the same time by acquiring the ECOSYS P3145dn, ECOSYS P3150dn, ECOSYS P3155dn and ECOSYS P3260dn devices,” adds Sharon Peché, marketing and communications manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa.

Diving deeper into the aforementioned eco-friendly features, the new ECOSYS range boasts a cartridge-free design and long-life components, which reduces manufacturing and maintenance requirements. Added to this is eco-friendly pulp packaging, as well as noticeably low consumption levels to help cut back on print-related energy usage and costs.

As for security, Kyocera explains that the A4 monochrome printers have a data security kit for advanced encryption when needed. The kit also enables data to be encrypted even before being stored on a hard disk, which is important when dealing with confidential documents.
