Samsung “accidentally” leaks images of the Galaxy S20

Oh would you look at that, we’re less than a week away from the reveal of the next Samsung Galaxy S-series range and images have leaked online.

We can hear you pondering out loud that images had already leaked but this time we’re not looking at low-res snaps taken secretly, but images from Samsung itself.

Yes, as has become tradition, Samsung posted marketing images for a new LED hardcover for the Galaxy S20. The images were posted to Samsung’s online store in a European country before quickly being taken down.

The images were spotted and captured by WinFuture.

This means that the name of the handset is now pretty much confirmed.

The previously leaked hole punch camera is also present in Samsung’s images as is the rather tall camera bump at the rear.

While all we have to go on are the images several other leaks over the last few months paint a rather decent picture of what we can expect from Samsung.

For one there will allegedly be three handsets including a new Ultra version. The Verge also reports that all of the S-series handsets will apparently boast a 120Hz display which would be very nice to have.

There will undoubtedly be an improved camera and we’d be fools to not gamble that 5G connectivity will make an appearance as well.

The good news is we don’t have to wait long for confirmation of the rumours and leaks.

Samsung’s Unpacked 2020 event takes place next week Tuesday 11th February and we will be attending the local event to get hands on with the latest S-series.

The event will be livestreamed on Samsung’s website.
