By now the bane of South African existence that is loadshedding should be all too familiar for South Africans. So much so that many small-to-medium enterprises are beginning to look at alternatives in a bid to keep the lights, and more importantly, key infrastructure running such as data centres.

To assist in this regard Schneider Electric has new offerings in the form of its Easy UPS 3M 3-phase lineup.

What makes this range particularly noteworthy is the fact that it’s the company’s first UPS with 60 and 80kVA (400V) internal high-capacity battery modules.

“With its optimized footprint design and competitive product features, Easy UPS 3M with internal battery modules allows Schneider Electric to better meet customer needs and partner requirements in a wide range of industries, making it an excellent fit for small and medium businesses, data centres, and manufacturing facilities,” notes George Senzere, pre-sales manager for secure power solutions at Schneider Electric South Africa .

“Easy UPS 3M fills a growing market need for a reliable and convenient solution, delivering power availability, manageability, and quality while reducing total cost of ownership,” he adds.

In terms of the other elements that the company has built into this latest lineup, the Easy UPS 3M 3-phase also features top or front access for servicing, as well as being able to operate in temperatures of up to 40 degrees celsius.

For those businesses also thinking about sustainability, this new range boats an energy-saving eco mode that can deliver up to 99 percent improvements in efficiency. Added to this is a Green Premium certification to tick the necessary sustainability boxes too.
