Every single Eeveelution is getting a Funko figure

Eeveelutions – the fan name given to the multiple evolutions the of the Pokémon Eevee – will all be getting a uniform Funko figure in a line of toys called An Afternoon with Eevee & Friends.

The gimmick here, aside from the fact that all of these products are thematically linked to one Pokémon, is that all nine of the planned figures can be displayed as a centrepiece with bases that fit together. You can see how this is supposed to work in the silhouette teaser image on this page.

Another trick here is that all nine products won’t just be available at once but will instead be released monthly starting now in February.

From 18th February the middle part of the centrepiece, a pair of Eevees on a grassy base, will go on sale only from the US Pokémon Centre.

After that the rest of the Eeveelutions will be released in the following months, according to this announcement:

  • February: Eevee
  • March: Vaporeon
  • April: Sylveon
  • May: Glaceon
  • June: Flareon
  • July: Espeon
  • August: Jolteon
  • September: Leafeon
  • October: Umbreon

As for what you’ll be paying the first Eevee figure is listed for $14.99 (~R223), and we assume the rest will all cost the same. If you’re a completionist looking to buy all nine, that would put the total cost of the An Afternoon with Eevee & Friends collection at $134.91 (~R2 005).

The above also assumes that you’ll even be able to buy the figures. This is a limited run series that will only be available until stock sells out. Also, as mentioned, it is exclusive to the US Pokémon Centre meaning that those outside of America like us will need to mess around with shipping and pay extra for it and customs.

All that aside these do look like decent products and Funko knows how to make figures that actually look and feel great when they’re not making deformed monstrosities in the Pop! line. These are also significantly less expensive (but unfortunately much smaller) than the 1:1 scale Mareep.
