Two different versions of LEGO Baby Yoda are on the way

With season two of The Mandalorian on the horizon we now have two others products to look forward to in the form of official LEGO sets, both featuring everyone’s favourite Baby Yoda (that’s really called “The Child” – yes we know that’s the official name).

The first set, and arguably the more impressive of the two, is a brick built version of the The Razor Crest.

Featuring 1 023 pieces, this set is a rather faithful replica of the one seen in the show. It’s slated for a 1st September release date and is priced at £119.99 (~R2 340).

Once built the ship is rather large measuring in at 38 X 28 X 14 centimetres.

Four minifigures are included here: The Mandalorian himself, Greef Karga, a Scout Trooper and Baby Yoda / The Child.

75292: Razor Crest is packed with other features such as a cockpit for two, a cargo hold, opening sides, an access ramp and more.

Unfortunately we don’t get to see all these features right now as only two official images of the set are available right now.

You can keep checking back to the official LEGO.com page in the coming months where hopefully more pictures will be added.

Next up is set 75317: The Mandalorian & The Child which falls into LEGO’s BrickHeadz range. If you’ve never seen BrickHeadz before it’s clearly LEGO’s attempt at making deformed Funko Pop figures, but as something you can build.

As you may have guessed by the name you get two characters in the box here. BrickHeadz double packs like this are not new and it works great here giving you arguably the two most desirable characters from the show.

There are 295 pieces here and, when the set releases on 1st August, it will cost £17.99 (~R351).

If you’re into the deformed look that Funko made so very popular then you’re going to love what’s on offer here.

For everyone else this looks like a nice little desk toy with the only real problem being the fact that the scale is all whack. Either The Mandalorian is too small or Baby Yoda / The Child is too big.

Regardless each comes with a little base, as all BrickHeadz do, and you get the famous levitating pram to push your little alien baby around in.

This set also has a LEGO.com page you can stare at until we get closer to the release date.
