Vodacom is pushing folks to use its VodaPay Masterpass app and it’s using the lure of more electricity and water than you paid for to do so.
Throughout the month of March, customers who purchase electricity and water using VodaPay will get 10 percent more than they paid for.
This means that if you purchase R200 worth of electricity you will receive an additional R20 worth of electricity for free.
“Our aim is to provide customers with a seamless and frictionless one-channel experience, ensuring consistent, efficient and personalised customer engagement, across all touch-points. As a digital-first company, we made sure that the VodaPay Masterpass app is the digital channel of choice for paying bills,” explains chief officer at Vodacom Financial Services, Mariam Cassim.
VodaPay customers will also get 10 percent of their data spend back when purchasing a R49 seven-day 1GB data bundle or a one-day 1GB bundle for R19.
Other special offers can be found in the Promotions tab in the VodaPay app.
In case you weren’t aware, VodaPay is not only available to Vodacom customers. Anybody with a valid South African mobile number and a bank card can use the app.
