FNB Connect gives customers 1GB and cuts data prices by up to 55%

South Africans making use of FNB’s FNB Connect will be glad to hear that the network has slashed its data prices.

Not able to afford data right now even if it’s discounted? Not to worry, FNB Connect will be giving its customers 1GB of data for free that is valid for the next 30 days.

This 1GB is in addition to the free data FNB Connect customers already get.

“In our efforts to provide our customers with more value for their money, we’ve reduced our mobile data prices and doubled the data bundles on most of our Lifestyle plans, to give our customers more reason to connect anywhere and anytime,” said product head at FNB Connect, Shadrack Palmer.

The updated data prices follow on below and honestly, there’s some really good value for money there. For instance, 1GB of data is selling for just R59.

As Palmer mentioned, FNB Connect is also increasing the size of its data allocations for Top Up Lifestyle Plans.

You can see how the updated dated packages compare to the older versions below.

“This is needed now more than even, as South Africans are observing the 21-day national lockdown, with many strapped for cash during these challenging times,” said Palmer.
