Local business offers SMEs accounting services virtually

When lockdown forced many businesses to close, we noted a number of local firms adapting to cater to citizens and even other businesses.

Local accounting firm The AuditPro was in the fortunate position of being available online before lockdown and founder Nestene Botha says that this has allowed the firm to assist SMEs during this time.

“For many of our SME clients, remote working means that the interruptions are more frequent, and making a mental separation from a chaotic home life can be incredibly tough. Clearly, it’s business as unusual and we can’t afford to be out of touch,” explains Botha.

The AuditPro offers several services such as accounting and financial management and tax administration among others. During lockdown the firm also made several resources free to any small business including a tax calendar for 2020.

The calendar outlines important dates throughout the year including when information should be sent to your accountant.

“Organisations need to continue to service their customers, pitch new business, meet with employees, and do whatever it takes to keep head above water, while addressing and maintaining critical finance and administrative tasks during these challenging times,” says Botha.

Shifting the business online had a noticeable benefit for The AuditPro. The founder says that not only has it reduced client travel costs it also saves time by eliminating often senseless face-to-face meetings.

“By shifting to online, our support network and footprint across the country was drastically increased. The most important and fundamental step when moving to online was to provide a personalised client service,” explains Botha.

If your business is in need of accounting and audit services during lockdown it may be a good idea to get in touch with The AuditPro as the firm seems primed exactly a situation such as the one we’re currently facing.
