Take a tour of Ancient Egypt and Greece for free with Ubisoft

Games are a great way to idle the hours away during lockdown and Ubisoft is giving you two game worlds to explore.

We should point out that these are not free games but rather the Discovery Tour of two games being made free. The game worlds in question are Ancient Egypt from Assassin’s Creed Origins and Ancient Greece from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

From now until 21st May at 20:00 CAT you can claim the Discovery Tour of Ancient Greece and the Discovery Tour Ancient Egypt for free. All you’ll need is a Uplay account and a PC to experience the tour.

“Learn more about its life, habits and customs by yourself, or let historians and Egyptologists guide you on one of the 75 available historical tours they have curated,” writes Ubisoft.

Meanwhile for Discovery Tour Ancient Greece tours will be based on five different themes namely philosophy, famous cities, daily life, war and myth.

Earlier this month Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which will take place during the era of the Vikings. We are hoping that game gets a similar Discovery Tour with a focus on Norse mythology and history.

For now though jump into Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece. Ubisoft did a sterling job of recreating these locations.

You can pick up the free offer for Discovery Tour Ancient Egypt here and Discovery Tour Ancient Greece here.
