Over the past week something rather special has happened for Pokémon fans looking for content to watch during the ongoing quarantine and lockdown. A surprising amount of movies from the franchise have been made free to watch for everyone.
The names of all eight movies as well as links to watch them are available below. The final three are the new additions.
- Pokémon: The First Movie
- Pokémon The Movie 2000
- Pokémon 3: The Movie
- Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
- Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea
- Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai
- Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior
- Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life
All the movies are being hosted on the rarely talked about Pokémon TV platform.
In terms of features TV is very limited with no way to force a certain quality or control playback speed. The former is a real problem here as the movies can become rather pixelated at times with no way to address it. This isn’t affected by the speed of your internet either.
Problems aside there’s no need to create an account or start a trial or anything like that. Just follow the links and start watching.
We’re still not sure how many more movies will be added to the offering or how much longer they will be available for free like this, so jump on them if you’re so inclined.
There also doesn’t seem to be any geoblocking going on, so where you live won’t affect what you can watch.
