Zoho apps now have fixed local pricing

As many businesses get used to a dispersed and remote workforce the need for software that aids in that process has been highlighted.

To that end, Zoho has announced that its software will be available for a fixed local price rather than users having to deal with an ever shifting exchange rate.

Zoho One which is comprised of 45 applications including apps for marketing, sales, support and HR is available for R450 per employee per month billed annually.

Zoho Workplace which includes email, file storage, word processor, spreadsheets, presentations, employee intranet, team chat and online video conferencing starts at R45 per user per month billed annually.

“Serving our local communities and businesses is a key focus for Zoho, and we recognise that the impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic is forcing businesses to adopt digitisation much faster than they might otherwise have, country manager for Zoho Corp in Africa, Andrew Bourne said in a statement.

Zoho has plans for long-term growth and expansion in Africa, having seen 35 percent growth in the region between 2019 and 2020. These include integration with top payment gateways in the continent, with a view to support local online businesses and online retailers.

It is also expanding its partner footprint in order to support more local businesses. Zoho’s partners have reportedly helped increase Zoho’s reach, contributing to over 55 percent of Zohos overall revenue for the region, according to Bourne.
