LEGO’s Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 comes with its own overnight bag

Back in January LEGO teased that it would be working with Lamborghini and the Fast & Furious franchise. While the latter was revealed to be Dom’s Charger, only today have we found out about the massive LEGO recreation of the Sián FKP 37.

Oh, and it comes with a bag.

42115: Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 comes with 3 696 pieces and costs $379.99 / €379.99 / £349.99 (~R6 627 / ~R7 398 / ~R7 581) depending on where you live. In South Africa it has been revealed to be selling for R5 999.99, so local buyers are getting it at a decent price compared to overseas.

Once built the set measures in at 60 X 25 X 13 centimetres, which LEGO states to be around 1:8 scale.

Like Dom’s Charger this falls into LEGO’s Technic range. Technic differs from System, the more regular bricks and plates, by relying on axels, gears and lift arms to recreate complex mechanical systems.

This is used to add features to the build such as a functional suspension, a V12 engine with moving pistons, scissor doors and this ridiculously complex eight speed gearbox.

An odd inclusion that we love here is a tiny overnight bag which you build and put into the front storage space of the car. Strangely enough, in that storage space, is a code which can be used to unlock some unrevealed online content. We’re not sure what this is right now or if each and every set will have its own unique code.

The LEGO Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 will be available to buy overseas from 1st June. Here in South Africa pre-orders will open on the same day with actual availability some time after that.

We’ve got a gallery of images of the set below to gawk at, but we highly recommend watching this video which accompanied the reveal. It’s one of the most dramatic promotional videos we’ve ever seen and we can’t believe it’s been made for what is, at the end of the day, a toy car.
