Clubhouse Games Guest Pass is a different kind of free demo

Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics was released recently to generally positive reviews. If you’re still on the fence about the title and want to try it for free, you can access a surprising amount of content thanks to the new Guest Pass.

Guest Pass is a free demo of sorts that gives you access to four of those 51 games – slot cars, president, four-in-a-row and dominoes.

What makes this demo a bit different is the multiplayer on offer as the four free games can be played with other Guest Pass users. More than that if any one of those players owns the full version of the game, then everyone can play all of the 51 titles that support it.

Unfortunately this is limited to local play, so you’re stuck with using these multiplayer features at trendy rooftop parties only.

This kind of shared multiplayer experience has been done before but its particularly clever for Clubhouse Games given the nature of this title with its many games and focus on playing with others.

It’s also very welcome due to the rather steep price of Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics. The full game is R629 locally.

Despite being given a fancy name to set it apart Guest Pass does not have its own page on the Nintendo eShop. Instead, like all demos, you need to go to the main game’s store page and hit “download demo” to get it.
