Rectron adds Lenovo DCG to its datacentre portfolio

Local ICT distributor Rectron has today announced that it has added Lenovo Data Centre Group (DCG) to its burgeoning suite of datacentre solutions.

As part of this new addition, Rectron will be able to offer its customers a range of improved products and services.

These include Lenovo DCG’s enterprise hardware which covers server, storage and networking.

The partnership also opens doors for Rectron as it’s able to deliver enhanced business solutions thanks to Lenovo’s connections with tier 1 software brands.

The partnership also sees the availability of Lenovo Software Defined Infrastructure coming to Rectron.

“As a tier 1 global brand committed to the IT channel, Lenovo is a perfect fit for Rectron and the direction in which the company is moving,” explained Rectron’s datacentre business unit manager, Michael Finch.

“My vision is to build long lasting relationships between Rectron and its customers, by providing technical expertise to the channel through our datacentre product management and presales teams,” Finch added.

Lenovo DCG is similarly excited to be partnered with the distributor.

“Lenovo prides itself on its world class network of channel partners. We believe that Rectron as an organisation would not only be able to introduce our brand to a unique reseller base, but also ensure that the customer is prioritised,” said country manager for Lenovo DCG, Jim Holland.

“When going to market, Lenovo DCG would be Rectron’s primary Tier 1 enterprise product supplier; allow them to provide us with the focus, attention and investment that we require. We are very excited about this partnership and what it can deliver for both our organisations,” he adds.
