After months of silence we finally have a WandaVision trailer

After months of silence about the show Disney has finally given us our first proper look at WandaVision by way of a trailer.

Emebedded below the trailer confirms some things were hinted upon, such as the two titular characters not knowing where they are or how they came to be in the strange sitcom-esque world.

“Welcome to WandaVision. Coming soon to Disney+. Marvel Studios’ captivating new series ‘WandaVision’ stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems,” reads the official description accompanying the trailer.

Unfortunately “coming soon” is still all we know about the release date of the show. We’ve heard random chattering around a Christmas launch, or at least some time in the holidays, but nothing is official just yet.

As this show is exclusive to Disney+ we can only hope that this service gets a broader release before WandaVision goes live, whenever that is, as many countries like South Africa still don’t have official access to the streaming service.

Official WandaVision accounts on Twitter and Facebook have become active in the last few hours to coincide with the trailer. Those are your best places to follow the show for more information as it becomes available.

Aside from Olsen and Bettany two other actors that get some screen time in the trailer are Debra Jo Rupp and Kathryn Hahn. To be perfectly honest we didn’t know that Rupp was still around and working, with her most famous role being Kitty Forman in That ’70s Show.

This trailer also comes with the release of a rather nice poster, a cropped version of which you can see in the header image above. The full poster is hosted on Twitter as well as Facebook, so it’s a real pick your poison affair when it comes to grabbing the version with the least amount of compression.
