As for COVID-19 in South Africa, the National Department of Health (NDoH) has shared its latest local statistics on the spread of the the virus.

To that end, the total number of cases to date now sits at 694 537. This after 1 178 new cases have been recorded over the past 24 hours, with Gauteng being the biggest contributor, making up 32.2 percent of the new cases.
