As we past the midway point in what has been another swelteringly hot week in the country, the National Department of Health (NDoH) has issued another daily update for COVID-19 in South Africa.

The new figures show that 2 055 new cases have been recorded over the past 24 hours, which is the first time we’ve the number surpass the 2k mark in quite some time.
