AMD’s second “Where Gaming Begins” stream starts right now

Hot on the heels of Nvidia’s embargo lifting for GeForce RTX 3070 GPUs, AMD is ceremoniously stealing the spotlight.

We’ll spare you the scroll. You can find the link to AMD’s stream below. Click the video title to be taken directly to YouTube.

Having already detailed its Zen 3 architecture earlier this month with the Ryzen 5000 series, we now get to see the next generation of GPUs.

The GPUs will be the RX 6000 series and AMD has been teasing us with renders of the GPU in Fortnite, and was even so bold as to tease performance during the Zen 3 event.

Despite this, we don’t know much about the Radeon RX 6000 series. We know that it will be using the RDNA 2 architecture which is also found in the forthcoming PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

With that in mind we’re expecting to see cards that can handle 4K gaming without breaking a sweat.

Of course the question on the minds of many is whether AMD will fall prey to the same tragic launch conditions that have plagued Nvidia. We don’t have a date of availability just yet but we suspect the launch of Ryzen 5000 and Radeon RX 6000 won’t be too far apart.

All of these questions are being answered right now however as AMD’s livestream has kicked off right now at 18:00 so we won’t have to wait long for pricing, performance and availability news.
