The HP Elite Dragonfly – Now available in SA via Drive Control Corporation

2020 has emphasised the need to have a well-tuned remote working setup, with working from home having quickly become the new normal during lockdown.

While some were better prepared than others, it’s never too late to invest in new technology that makes working from home a bit better.

This brings us to one of HP’s most innovative and expertly specced notebooks to date – the Elite Dragonfly. This business-focused notebook is now available locally to the channel thanks to technology distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC), but more about them later.

As you can see, the Elite Dragonfly is designed as a premium notebook, which should certainly appeal to those in the C-Suite. It has also been manufactured as a thin and lightweight device that does not skimp on power or features either.

Added to this is the unique distinction of being the world’s lightest compact business convertible notebook at under a kilogram, along with boasting an 86 percent screen-to-body ratio, which is world leading for a 13.3″ notebook in this class.

The Elite Dragonfly is not just a looker either, as HP has ensured that it can deliver up to 24.5 hours of battery life. Combined with its lightweight design, whether at home or on the road, the Dragonfly is built with portability in mind.

Shifting to the 13.3″ touch display, which can be rotated vertically to pose the Dragonfly in a few different modes when needed, DCC has made multiple flavours of resolution available to the channel too, with FullHD at under 400 nits, FullHD at 1000 nits and 4K HDR UHD at 550 nits capable of being specced.

The same smorgasbord of customisation is available for the internal components, with up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD storage and Intel UHD 620 graphics on offer.

It has also been verified by Intel’s Project Athena, which means it is at the forefront of innovation when it comes to Windows 10 notebooks.

On the connectivity front, support for WiFi 6 can be found, but when a network is not on hand, the Dragonfly features Gigabit-class LTE.

HP has kept privacy front of mind as well, with the Sure View privacy screen safeguarding from any prying eyes that could be looking at your display.

DCC is shipping this light, premium and powerful business notebook with a three-year, carry-in warranty, along with an option to upgrade to an on-site warranty if needed.
