Today at Apple tutorial videos being added to YouTube

If you own an Apple product, especially one designed with creativity in mind like a MacBook or iMac, you may be aware of the Today at Apple sessions that the company liked to hold at its physical retail locations from time to time.

During the pandemic era that has not been possible, which is why Today at Apple began hosting sessions via Cisco Webex, but now tutorial videos are heading to YouTube.

The first to do so, and pasted below, is a tutorial video on how to draw yourself as a Peanuts character in the Pages app.

The 10-minute long session will require those interested to have an iPad or iPhone on hand, as well as an Apple Pencil or suitable stylus and access to the Pages app. As such, these tutorials and others like it are aimed squarely at those a part of the Apple hardware or software ecosystems.

During the video, Krista Porter, a storyboard artist on The Snoopy Show and Anthony (surname not disclosed) go through the creative process that those watching will be able to replicate. A producer for The Snoopy Show, which is an Apple TV+ original series, also makes an appearance, so expect future Today at Apple sessions to feature content tied to an Apple service too.

While we could be cynical and say that this is yet another way for a corporation to cleverly advertise its products, at the end of the day it could proof a helpful and informative resource for someone out there.

If Peanuts is not your thing, Apple will be uploading more tutorial videos to its YouTube Channel moving forward, so it may be worthwhile checking in now and again to see if anything interesting is added.
