Apple Event set for 14th September, iPhone 13 lineup expected

By this time next week, we should have a good idea of what the latest series of iPhone will have to offer. This as an Apple Event has been announced for 14th September, taking place at 19:00 local time and set to run for approximately two hours.

Unlike past years, information on this latest iPhone lineup is a little harder to pin down, but as we ramp up to next week Tuesday, we’re sure the usual batch of serial leakers will spill the beans before Tim Cook and co. officially do so.

Until then, however, all we have to go on for the event is that four new iPhone 13 models are expected, as was the case last year.

Alongside the new smartphones, the California Streaming event as it has been dubbed by Apple, could also see new Apple Watch and AirPod iterations see the light of day.

As for the Mac-branded hardware, those are expected during another Apple Event yet to be announced and likely sporting new silicon from the company’s internal foundry.

For now, the bigger question is what Apple plans to do for the iPhone 13 lineup, with not much in terms of innovation being touted at this stage.

Perhaps we could get a notch-less display with selfie camera under the screen, as we spotted on the Galaxy Z Fold3 last month, but that’s more conjecture than anything else.

We’ll be tuning into the Apple live stream via apple.com, with the Apple TV app also playing host, as well as the Apple YouTube channel featuring a stream too for these events.
